1964      Mueller lift chalet t-bar installed

Upper downhill ski run rope tow installed

Hydro installed

Lights for night skiing installed

Renovations lower downhill tow

Bunny Patch ski run cut

Ski run trail improvements

Incorporated Timmins Ski Club

 

1965      Sportsman of the year – executive members of Timmins Ski Club

 

1966      All lifts electrically operated. Snow packing machine courtesy of Hollinger Mines.

 

1967      May 1st 1967 incorporated Kamiskotia Ski Resorts Ltd

 

1972      Chalet expansion

Opened west side 6 new ski runs

Skyway T-bar lift installed

Bombardier snow groomer purchased from funds from Northern Development & Mines

 

1975      Timberland downhill T-bar lift installed. Financed through Northern Development & Mines

 

1978      Ski doo purchased

National identification picture card system obtained

Ski School logo created

 

1979      Cross country double track setter purchased. Mercury vapour lights for night skiing installed on La Main Malette ski run

1980      Harush Bunny Patch lift installed and trail cut, financed through Northern Development & Mines

1981      1st drilling for water for snowmaking (Nothing found, even with Diviner)

1982      1st application for tourism grant submitted

1983      D.M.C. 3700 Hydromaster Ski Dozer and maintenance shop expansion financed through the Norda Tourism and Development Program

1986      Approval of the funding for the feasibility and planning study through Nor-Dev program with the Ministry of Northern Development

1987      $41,000.00 feasibility study completed by Canada Ski Consultants

1989      $1,200,000.00 received. New Base Lodge built. State of the art snowmaking system installed. $250,000.00 raised by SBDC Kamiskotia Development Group. $750,000.00 Trip loan with Ministry of Tourism. 20 chalet lots leased

1990      $1,000,000.00  Two fixed grip chairlifts installed on Downhill and Skyway.  State of the art snow grooming machine purchased.  Parking lot upgraded. Financed with Northern Ontario Heritage Fund. 10 chalet lots leased

1991      $70,000.00  Expanded trail development
